How to disassemble the EGR valve on Volvo V50? We lift the bonnet and put it in safety, then, we remove the soundproofing panel of the engine; with a screwdriver we unscrew the locking pins of the pipeline. We disassemble the locking pins of the EGR valve as in the video (if we have problems: we remove and plastic to the side). Once the piece has been disassembled from its seat, let's unscrew the screws on it with a screwdriver (if it needs cleaning). We begin to clean the valve with the help of a product suitable for cleaning mechanical parts, we use a brush to facilitate operations. We reassemble the piece after cleaning or assemble a new one.
