How to Reset the Service Light on a Volvo XC70

In this short video tutorial, observe how to reset the service light on a third-generation Volvo XC70. First, turn on the vehicle's instrument panel without starting the engine. Now, press and hold the "OK" button at the end of the stalk (to the left of the steering wheel) along with the start button. Keep both buttons pressed until the yellow "i" light on the speedometer display starts flashing, followed by a sound. After this sound, the reset will be complete, and you can release the buttons and restart the vehicle to check the reset.
