Replacing the Timing Belt on a Volvo C30

If you need to replace the timing belt on this vehicle model, you will find general guidelines in the description and video. However, note that replacing this component is quite complex and should ideally be performed by experienced personnel. First, remove the right front wheel and take out the inner wing liner. Then unscrew the crankshaft pulley and remove the auxiliary belt. Next, guide the screws securing the upper timing belt cover and remove the right engine mount. Lock the crankshaft and camshafts to maintain engine synchronisation when you remove the belt. Loosen the tensioner and slide off the belt.
