Operation: How do you replace the timing belt of the Volvo V70?

The replacement of the timing belt on the Volvo V70 is done by opening the hood and removing the protective panel located on the left side of the engine block: it will be necessary to first remove the coolant reservoir and the power steering oil reservoir. Now you will also need to remove the right front wheel, along with the corresponding wheel arch. This will allow access to the belt tensioner pulley, which once removed will reduce the tension of the belt itself, allowing it to be removed from the pulleys. In this way it will be possible to insert the new belt and reassemble the other parts.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport
