How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Volvo V70

To replace the timing belt on the Volvo V70, open the bonnet and remove the protective panel located on the left side of the engine block: you will need to first remove the coolant reservoir and the power steering oil reservoir. Next, remove the right front wheel along with the corresponding wheel arch liner. This will provide access to the tensioner pulley, which, once removed, will allow you to reduce the tension on the belt and slide it off the respective pulleys. You can then fit the new belt and reassemble the other parts.
