Alfa Romeo 147 - Video tutorial

Model: Alfa Romeo 147 MK 1 - Years 2000-2010
Part: Glow plugs
Operation: Alfa Romeo 147 glow plugs replacement

In this video tutorial we will show you how to remove the glow plugs of the JTDm engine of an Alfa Romeo 147. This occurs when the wording "preheating failure" appears on the dashboard. So first we open the engine hood and disconnect the battery terminals. After that we should remove the coil to access the cables below and disconnect the diesel filter connector. Disconnect the glow plug connector being careful not to break it and if you want you can remove the EGR valve to have more space. At this point with socket wrench with extension we unscrew our faulty glow plug!

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
