In this video tutorial, you will learn how to remove the glow plugs from the JTDm engine of an Alfa Romeo 147. This is necessary when the "preheating fault" message appears on the dashboard. First, open the bonnet and disconnect the battery terminals. Then, remove the coil to access the cables underneath and disconnect the fuel filter connector. Disconnect the glow plug connector, taking care not to break it, and if you wish, you can remove the EGR valve for more space. At this point, using a socket wrench with an extension, unscrew the faulty glow plug!
