How to Change Filters on the Alfa Romeo Stelvio

In this video, you will learn how to change the oil, fuel, air, and cabin filters on the Alfa Romeo Stelvio. Remove the stabilizer bar and then the engine cover; unscrew the oil filler cap. Now, you need to remove the 21 bolts from the subframe to access the oil pan. Before unscrewing the drain plug, position a container to collect the used oil, which you will dispose of at a certified collection center. Now, let's focus on the filter: disconnect the connector and remove the cap. You will also need a container here, as some oil will spill. Remove the filter, replace the O-ring, and insert the new filter; lubricate the cap and put it back in place, then reconnect the hose and connector. Replace the oil pan drain plug gasket and close it. Now you can fill the oil reservoir with 4.5 quarts of engine oil. To replace the fuel filter, you need to remove the rear wheel on the driver’s side and open the wheel well; disconnect the circuit hoses and electrical connectors; remove the mounting bolts to extract the system. Remove the drain valve, empty it, and then put it back in place. Now, unscrew the closing bolts and open the central body cap. Remove the used filter, clean the container thoroughly from dirt and debris, then insert the new filter and close the device, repositioning it by reconnecting hoses and connectors. Now, you will need to turn the ignition on and off 5 to 6 times without starting the engine. Finally, start the engine. Now it's time for the air filter: loosen the clamp and disconnect the hose, disconnect the electrical connector, and remove the screws to lift the cover: you can remove the used filter. Clean the container thoroughly from dirt and debris and position the new one. Close everything up and restore the disconnected connections. Reattach the engine cover and the stabilizer bar. Now replace the cabin filter located under the glove compartment; you need to unclip the panel without removing it. You will see a green handle that will allow you to remove the filter. Again, make sure to clean the container well before putting in the new filter: pay attention to the direction of insertion. Reattach the subframe, and the operation is complete.
