Where is the fuse box of the BMW X5 located?

The 2009 BMW X5 has two fuse boxes inside. The first fuse box is located inside the cabin; specifically behind the passenger side glove compartment. The second fuse box is located inside the front hood; specifically between the battery and the engine. When an electrical component stops working, the cause should be traced back to the corresponding fuse, as if the fuse is burnt out, it needs to be replaced. Take for example the fuse for the air conditioning fan, which is located inside the cabin fuse box. To replace it, we need to remove the fuse using needle-nose pliers and then insert a fuse with the same amperage. In extreme cases, it may be necessary to remove the microchip part and modify the voltage through cables and resistors.
