How to Disable the Start&Stop on the BMW X1?

You can disable the Start&Stop feature on the BMW X1 by turning on the instrument cluster and pressing the button with the car icon located on the right spoke of the steering wheel: this will bring up a menu on the central display from which you need to select "Driving Settings". Now proceed by selecting "Automatic Start/Stop" and then "Deactivate Once": this will disable the system until the engine is turned off again.

In fact, at the next start, you will notice that the system has been reactivated.
