How to Change Front Headlight Bulbs on BMW 5 Series

Are the BMW 5 headlight bulbs burnt out? Let's replace them. Open the hood by pulling the lever located at the bottom right of the dashboard and secure it with the prop rod. Remove the screws securing the front headlight and disconnect the power connectors. Locate the headlight inspection cover and remove it. At this point, you will find the bulbs with metal clips; pull the bulb holders out of the headlight and extract the damaged bulbs using a screwdriver. Install the new bulbs (always the correct type and size) and insert the bulb holders back into the headlight housing. Reinstall the headlight above the bumper.
