Spark Plug Replacement Instructions

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006

First, perform this maintenance with the engine cold to avoid unpleasant burns. Remove the plastic cover under the windshield, then take out the cabin air filter and its housing. Next, remove the plastic cover on top of the engine: at this point, you can see the ignition coils. Disconnect the connectors attached to the coils, unscrew the mounting screws, and pull out the complete coil with the boot to unscrew the spark plug and replace it with a new one (do not exceed the torque specification).
Reattach the boot and the connector to the coil: repeat the same process for the replacement of the other spark plugs.
