Instructions for Removing Fuel Tank from BMW 3 Series 316ti

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006

In this video tutorial, you will see the main instructions to remove the fuel tank from a BMW 3 Series 316ti. First, lift the vehicle and remove the metal heat shield located on the exhaust manifold by unscrewing the mounting screws; then remove the side brackets of the tank. Now, try to separate the central support from the vehicle frame and disconnect the parking brake cables; disconnect the various fuel lines and remove the fuel pump located under the rear seat: finally, remove the tank.
