In this tutorial, we will see how to reset the adaptive automatic transmission in the BMW 3 Series, a very simple operation to perform, for example, when changing ownership or if there are abnormal behaviors. To do this, first insert the key and turn on the instrument cluster, then press the accelerator pedal all the way down for 60 seconds. Once the time has elapsed, release the pedal and start the vehicle. If the operation was successful, all data related to the use and management of the automatic transmission will have been reset and will be reprocessed over the next miles driven.
