How to Reset the Brake Pads on a BMW 1 Series

This video shows how to reset the brake pads on the BMW 1 Series F20/F21. The procedure is simple and takes little time to complete. To reset, first start the instrument cluster, then press the 0.0 button for about 10 seconds to access the service menu. Once in the service menu, press the 0.0 button to scroll through the menu until you find the necessary items; once identified, press the 0.0 button for a few seconds until the message to perform the reset appears, then press the button again to confirm. Once the reset of the brake pads is complete, you can restart the instrument cluster to verify that the procedure was successful.
