Replacement of the MAF sensor of the BMW 1 Series

To replace the sensor of the BMW 1 series, we open the hood of the engine compartment, locate the sensor positioned on the pipe coming out of the air filter box, disconnect the tube passing over it from the fixing clips, with the help of a small flathead screwdriver we disconnect the electrical connector. Using a Torx screwdriver, we unscrew the two screws that secure the sensor body to the fitting and remove it. Take the new sensor, check for compatibility with the old one, and insert it into its seat. Screw in the two screws, reattach the tube with the clips, and insert the electrical connector.
