How to Remove the Fuel Pump on a Citroen Xsara Picasso

Learn how to remove the floating fuel pump from a Citroen Xsara Picasso. Disconnect the battery cables, then remove the rear seat from the car (boot). Unscrew the securing screws of the metal cap and remove it. Wrap the entire perimeter of the metal sheet with paper or an absorbent cloth, then use a screwdriver to unscrew the large bolt around the pump. Disconnect the power connectors and the liquid circulation tubes. Finally, extract the floating fuel pump. To reassemble, proceed in reverse order.
