In this video, see how to change the diesel filter on a Citroen C4 Picasso with a 1.6 HDi engine. The filter is located on the right side of the engine bay, near the battery, and is connected to 2 electrical connectors (water sensors in the diesel) and two fuel pipes (inlet and outlet). First, it is advisable to disconnect the battery, then remove the electrical connectors, detach the fuel pipes and extract the filter. Transfer the differential sensor from the old filter to the new filter, which you can obtain on eBay with the code 112976635315 for £19.36, with free delivery. Insert the new filter in its place (some versions have a bracket); reconnect the pipes, paying attention to the flow direction indicated above, reconnect the electrical connectors, reconnect the battery, and start the car to circulate the diesel: the engine may shake for a moment due to air in the system.
