How to carry out maintenance on a Fiat 500 yourself? Pull the plastic lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard (left-hand drive), lift the front bonnet and secure it with the provided prop. Check the engine oil level using the dipstick (use a cloth); locate the oil filler cap. Top up the engine lubrication fluid using a funnel (replace the cap on top of the cylinder head).

Check the engine oil level with the dipstick until the correct level is found. Close the front bonnet after maintenance.
