Oil filter replacement on a Fiat 500? Let’s look at how to remove the filter. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet.

Remove the engine soundproofing panel, then use a socket wrench to unscrew the oil filter. Extract the worn filter and insert a new one. Lift the car with a jack and unscrew the bolt from the oil sump, draining the oil into a container.

Screw the bolt back into the oil sump and lower the car to the ground. Top up the engine with the new oil. Test the vehicle to finish.
