The fuel filter replacement operation in the Fiat Ducato Camping car is very simple. The fuel filter support is located inside the engine compartment, fixed to the bodywork to the left of the battery. The replacement maneuver is very simple, the first thing to do is unscrew the fuel passage pipe underneath the filter, once this operation is done, diesel will start to come out from under the filter, to stop it it is advisable to screw the cap on the new filter . At this point, with the appropriate filter wrench we can unscrew the same, which would be very hard by hand. If we want, we can help ourselves with a parrot key which we will use to hold the motor support still and allow us to put more force on the filter. At this point it will be sufficient, once the old one has been removed, to screw on the new filter, tightening it with the help of the wrench without applying excessive force. Connect the fuel passage pipe screw to the underside. Now, it will be important to purge the filter of the air contained inside. To perform this manoeuvre, we must unscrew the slotted screw in the upper part of the filter support, start the engine and accelerate repeatedly 2/3 times; now it will be sufficient to tighten the screw again and the replacement is complete.
