How to perform the service reset on the Ford Puma

On the Ford Puma, the reset of the Service light is performed from the instrument cluster menu. Park the car on a level surface, engage the parking brake, and turn on the ignition without starting the engine (usually, you just need to press Start/Stop without pressing the brake pedal). Use the navigation controls on the steering wheel to enter the display menu and navigate to the vehicle settings section. Look for the maintenance option, which may appear as Oil life or Service reset/Reset service depending on the trim level. Enter the reset screen and hold down the OK/Confirm button until the procedure is complete. Once the operation is finished, check that the maintenance indication has been reset (typically it returns to 100% or a confirmation of the reset appears). Turn off the ignition and turn it back on to check that the Service light does not reappear. Perform this reset only after you have actually completed the service; if the warning remains active or abnormal messages appear, it is advisable to run a diagnosis.
