How to remove the injector from a Ford Mondeo TDCi MK3

Let's see how to remove the injector from a Ford Mondeo TDCi MK3: we start by disconnecting the electrical connectors of the injectors, then we remove the fuel rail and any flexible hoses. We loosen the fastening nuts of the injectors and then, with a specific extractor or a two-arm lever (AliExpress code 1005009691961322 at the price of 48.71 euros with free shipping), which we will insert under the shoulder of the injector, we will gradually extract it without damaging the seat, with gentle twisting/rotating movements. Before inserting the new injector, we clean the seat well with a brass brush and compressed air. It is important not to use aggressive screwdrivers or levers to avoid breaking the cylinder head; we protect the injector holes with clean cloths to prevent dirt from entering. The seals and fastening bolts must always be replaced.
