Turn on the instrument cluster without starting the engine, press the "start" button without pressing the brake pedal, and ensure that the "oil change required" light is visible on the dashboard. Navigate through the menu using the "ok" button on the steering wheel to select "settings", then enter "vehicle" and scroll to "oil life", then hold down "ok" for 5 seconds until the confirmation appears. At this point, the oil percentage will return to 100%. If the reset fails, repeat the steps ensuring you hold the "ok" button long enough. Between attempts, turn the car off and back on.
