How to change the alternator of a Ford Focus C Max. Pull the lever located on the left at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the bonnet; we locate the battery of the power supply and disconnect the terminals. We lift the car onto a column bridge, unscrew the pins with a socket wrench from the engine guard. We unscrew all the clamping pins of the alternator. Once the disassembly is finished, take it out of the engine compartment. Now we take the new replacement part and insert it into the suitable housing, screw in the locking pins, then, tighten the side pins of the alternator. We check the right voltage with a tester by connecting it to the battery.
