In order to replace the alternator of the Ford C-Max, you need to open the hood so that you can have access to the components located inside the engine compartment: on the left side of the engine compartment, you will be able to locate the alternator at the bottom. You will need to remove the intake hose to access the underlying alternator: by removing the accessory belt, it will then be possible to loosen the screws that secure the alternator to the appropriate supports. Then, you will need to disconnect the cables connected to the battery, replacing the alternator with a new replacement part.
