Replacing the Alternator on a C Max

Do you want to replace the alternator on an Opel Meriva? Let’s see how to remove the part from the engine bay of a C Max. Lift the front bonnet and secure it with the support rod. Disconnect the battery terminals before removing the alternator. Locate the alternator and undo the bolts using a socket spanner; remove all the securing bolts of the alternator. Detach the belt from the alternator and remove it. Fit the new alternator into the engine bay, tighten the securing bolts, then reconnect the belt. After assembly, reconnect the battery terminals.
