Do we want to replace the alternator of an Opel Meriva? Let's see how the piece is removed from inside the engine compartment of a C Max. Lift the front hood of the engine, then stop it with the holding rod. We disconnect the battery electrical terminals before disassembling the alternator. We locate the alternator and unscrew the pins with a socket wrench; we unscrew all the fastening pins of the alternator. We detach the belt from the alternator and remove the same. We mount the new alternator in the engine compartment, screw in the locking pins, then, we connect the belt. At the end of the assembly we go to mount the electrical terminals on the battery.
