How to Remove the Dashboard of the Ford Focus

In this video tutorial, see how to remove the dashboard of the Ford Focus by following a few simple steps. First, prepare the necessary tools to dismantle all the components (Steering wheel, airbag, instrument cluster, centre console, and stereo). Start by removing the plastic cover between the instrument cluster and the steering wheel as shown in the video. Next, turn the steering wheel clockwise and insert the key into the holes at the back of the steering wheel to remove the airbag, then disconnect the airbag cables. After that, take a spanner and undo the central bolt securing the steering wheel. Now, remove the instrument cluster, followed by the centre console and stereo. Disconnect the electrical cables and remove the stereo from its housing. Next, remove the handbrake and gear lever covers by unscrewing the screws. Disconnect the cables and remove the panel covering the gear lever and handbrake. Open the glove compartment, unscrew the screws, and pull the compartment out of its housing. Now, unscrew the screws located near the air conditioning knobs, disconnect the cables, and remove the knobs. Finally, unscrew the remaining screws to remove the dashboard.
