How to Reset the Service Light on a Ford Transit

After changing the engine oil on your Ford Transit, you need to reset the system that alerts you to this maintenance operation with a spanner-shaped warning light on the dashboard. Sit in the driver's seat, turn the ignition key to switch on the instrument panel, and simultaneously press and hold the brake and accelerator pedals. The spanner light will start to flash; after about ten seconds, you will notice a change in the flashing rhythm: turn off the instrument panel, and upon restarting, you can verify that the reset has been completed.
