Replacement of the front hood lock of the Ford CMax MK2

Let's see how to proceed to replace the key lock of the front hood of the Ford C-Max. With the hood open, remove the grille above the radiator by unscrewing the screws that hold it in place, remove the old lock with the flexible cable, unscrew the two screws that hold the latch and remove it after disconnecting the connector. Insert the attachment of the flexible cable of the new lock into the latch, test its operation and put it back in place by securing it with its screws and inserting the connector, insert the lock into its housing and put the grille back in place.
