In this video, see where the oil drain plug is located on a Chevrolet/Holden Captiva series CG. To easily access the drain plug, raise the vehicle. It is advisable not to rely solely on your jack; instead, use a floor jack and then support the vehicle on two jack stands for stability. The drain plug is located at the bottom of the oil pan, between the two front wheels. When changing the oil, it is recommended to also replace the plug or at least the gasket. This ensures that there will be no leaks from the plug after the oil change.
