Removing the Rear Bumper on Jeep Compass

Is the rear bumper of the Jeep Compass due for replacement? Here’s how to remove it from the rear. Using a socket wrench or battery-powered screwdriver, unscrew the securing bolts located on the spare wheel (remove it). Lift the vehicle with a column lift, remove the metal bar located at the bottom of the bumper; remove the bolts on the sides of the car's bumper. Once the bumper is free from any screws or bolts, grasp it with your hands and pull it away from the bodywork (disconnect any power cables). Fit the new bumper, screw in the securing screws, and finally reattach the spare wheel.
