How to Disable the Immobiliser on the Land Rover Freelander

To disable the immobiliser on the Land Rover Freelander, open the bonnet to access the control unit located in the engine compartment: this unit must be freed from its mounting screws and disconnected from the relevant cables and connectors. At this point, you can connect the control unit to a computer to identify and reset any stored errors. Once the reset is complete, reinstall the control unit and check that the immobiliser has been completely disabled.
