How to Change Your Car's Engine Oil

Changing the engine oil is crucial to avoid problems that could affect your car. The oil change depends on how you use the vehicle. It is also recommended to replace the filter along with the oil. First, lift the car using a jack. Then, unscrew the oil filler cap and raise the dipstick: this ensures better drainage of the oil. Next, unscrew the oil pan plug to let the used oil drain out. While waiting for the oil to completely drain, use a wrench to remove the oil filter, located at the front of the vehicle. Once the oil flow has stopped, proceed to install the new filter.
