Mazda 3 - Video tutorial

Model: Mazda 3 MK 1, BK - Years 2003-2009
Part: Alternator
Operation: Filter on positive alternator

Among the most complicated technical drawbacks we can certainly include the annoying hums and various interference caused by the car's electrical devices and reproduced by the on-board audio system, especially if it is a system of a certain power that requires the insertion of amplifiers. . The interference of the car's electrical system, in one way or another, is always in circulation and cannot be eliminated but only discharged to the ground: starting from this assumption it is clear that the first precaution is to make sure to put ground each electronics of the system, taking care to obtain good contact with the frame by stripping the fixing point. As for the positive power supply, it is suggested to take it from the battery, after inserting a fuse to protect the cable itself, using a shielded cable and perhaps also inserting a filter. To further improve the situation, it is also suggested to replace the cable that goes from the alternator to the battery positive, always using a shielded cable and a filter. It is useless to remember that even the amplifiers must receive the positive from a cable of adequate section connected to the battery; It is to be absolutely avoided to derive the cable from the fuse box because it is a source of noise and, very often, it is not expected to carry extra loads (unless you are installing a modest power amplifier). Often the hums are caused either by a battery that is now to be thrown away or by problems deriving from the ground connection of the battery negative. An exhausted battery raises its internal resistance enormously and this makes the electronics "see" the alternator as a preferential source and that the filter action of the battery is weak and it is easy to perceive hums that perhaps were not there before. Another suggestion is to avoid bundling all the cables and make sure that the signal cables are far from the power cables of the car and the system: in fact the pre-out extensions, especially the unshielded ones and economic, they can pick up the spurious that are present in the electric circuit of the car by electromagnetic induction. The remedy, of course, is to keep the pre-out extension (at least 10 cm) away from the power cables. The same goes for the pre-out extension section that crosses the meanders of the dashboard, try to keep it away from control units and electrical devices.

How to activate the cruise control of the Nissan Qashqai

Let's see how the cruise control is activated on the Nissan Qashqai: you have to activate it by putting the cruise control switch to "on", then, using only the right spoke of the steering wheel, press the "set-" button, then the "res +" button also on the right spoke of the steering wheel and the cruise control indicator lights up on the car's instrument panel display. If the brake pedal is pressed while the cruise control is in operation or if the "cancel" button on the right spoke of the steering wheel is pressed, the cruise control will automatically deactivate and the cruise control indicator on the instrument panel will go out.
