How to disassemble the steering wheel airbag in the Mercedes C-Class?

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the steering wheel airbag in the Mercedes C-Class, an extremely simple and fast operation. Before proceeding, we open the engine compartment and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, in order to avoid the accidental activation of the airbag itself. We start by going inside the car, then we locate the two screws on the back side of the steering wheel and unscrew them using a Torx T30 tip key. We then grab the airbag, separate it from the steering wheel, and disconnect the power connector. At this point, we can install the replacement following the reverse procedure.
