How to perform an oil change on a Mercedes Sprinter.

Today we will show you how to change the engine oil on a Mercedes Sprinter 3.0 diesel. To perform the oil change, we need to purchase a canister of engine oil from the brand Mobil, which can be bought online or at auto parts stores, and an engine oil filter from Bosch. We place a large 12-liter container under the oil pan and use a wrench to remove the nut. We let the oil drain into the container and then put the bolt back on. If we deem it necessary, we can also replace the bolt gasket.

To replace the filter housing, we need to remove the cover by unscrewing it counterclockwise. We take out the filter inside and insert the new one. Again, if we feel it is necessary, we can also replace the gasket of the housing. To complete the service, we pour about 12 liters of engine oil into the oil reservoir.

To reset the mileage for the next car service, we need to get inside the vehicle and press the menu button to access the settings. We select the wrench icon using the OK button on the steering wheel, and then we hold down the Trip button on the instrument panel to update the mileage. Finally, we restart the instrument panel.
