Bleeding Air and Changing Brake Fluid

If you want to bleed the brake system to remove any air bubbles or simply replace the brake fluid, it is very useful to use a vacuum pump to suck the fluid from the system through the dedicated bleed valve on the brake caliper. Remove the rubber cover from the bleed valve, insert the spanner to loosen it, and then attach the vacuum pump hose. Loosen the valve and open the suction to draw the fluid from the system. Repeat this process on all four calipers, and while draining, fill the reservoir with clean fluid.
