Automatic Transmission Fluid Change for the Mercedes C-Class

To change the transmission fluid in this vehicle, follow the instructions in this video and the description below. First, lift the vehicle on a lift, remove the soundproofing panel under the engine, and open the automatic transmission fluid drain. Allow the fluid to drain completely, collect it, and dispose of it properly. Reinstall the drain plug using the appropriate gasket, remove the oil pan, and take out the transmission filter to replace it with a new one. Apply the new gasket to the oil pan using the screw kit to reattach it. Then, use the appropriate pump to fill the transmission circuit with about 4 quarts of fluid.
