How to change the battery of a Peugeot 308

In this video, we can see how to change the battery of a Peugeot 308: we open the hood and see that the battery is located on the left side of the engine compartment (facing the vehicle). First, we remove the protective plate of the air intake, then we remove the screw of the battery protection plate; we rotate the air duct to unscrew it, and then we remove it with the plate. We disconnect the positive terminal of the battery, and then remove the fuse box cover located on the positive terminal, also removing the entire fuse box and battery cover. We remove the fixing screw at the base of the battery, then disconnect the negative terminal and remove the battery from its housing. We use sandpaper on the contacts to remove the deposited oxide, and apply copper grease on the terminals of the new battery, which we can then position. We reconnect the negative terminal and the fixing screw, put back the cover with the fuse box, reconnect the positive terminal, and put back the fuse box cover. Now we put back the air duct and the protective plate. Job done.
