How to replace the oil and filter on a Peugeot 208 engine? Follow these steps for the replacement: open the car door and pull up the engine bay release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet, securing it. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the large securing bolt of the container cap (where the oil filter is located), lift the car with a jack (or column lift) and unscrew the bolt from the oil sump; allow the fluid to drain into a container. Finally, top up with the new fluid and close the front bonnet.
