Let's see how to check the level of liquids on a Peugeot 2008 MK1 diesel: we start with the engine oil by pulling out the dipstick, wiping it with a cloth, putting it back in place, and then checking it. The level should be between "min" and "max". If it is low, we add small amounts of oil recommended by the manufacturer, checking each time. The level should NEVER be above the maximum level. The brake fluid is located in a small transparent reservoir, and theoretically it does not get consumed. If it has decreased, it means that the brake pads are wearing out. We add fluid, but plan to change the pads. The coolant is located in the transparent expansion tank, and here too it should be close to "max". If it is lower, we add the fluid, of the same color as the one in the tank. For the windshield washer fluid, we fill it up to the brim with the specific fluid, never with tap water that could clog the ducts and damage the windshield.
