How to change the engine oil of the Peugeot 2008.

On the second-generation Peugeot 2008 (1.2 PureTech), the oil change with filter replacement is performed with the vehicle stationary and secure. The car is lifted at the appropriate points, and any lower shield is removed. A collection container is placed under the oil pan, the drain plug is unscrewed, and the used oil is allowed to drain out. The oil filter cartridge is removed as shown, cleaning the seat and replacing the O-ring on the cap; before reassembly, the gasket is lubricated with a drop of new oil. The plug is tightened with the specified washer, and the correct amount of oil is filled from the filler neck. The engine is started for a few seconds to fill the circuit, then the level is checked and topped up if necessary. Finally, the absence of leaks is verified, the removed covers are restored, and if required, the service warning is reset from the instrument panel following the illustrated sequence.
