Engine Air Filter Replacement

Replacing the engine air filter is an extremely simple task that does not require special tools or skills. Just remove the screws securing the filter housing cover and disconnect the hose from the throttle body to facilitate lifting and extracting the filter. Once you ensure there are no dirt residues inside the filter seat (remove them using a vacuum cleaner, not compressed air), install the new filter and reassemble everything in reverse order. For the vehicle in question, you might also consider installing a performance filter that, in addition to improving engine performance, does not need to be replaced during subsequent maintenance but simply washed with appropriate cleaners.
