Instructions for Replacing the V-Belt

Model: Skoda Superb B6, 3T - Years 2008-2015
Part: V-belt

The auxiliary (or V) belt is located at the front of the engine and drives the air conditioning compressor, alternator, power steering pump, and in some cases, the water pump (although this is generally driven by the timing belt). To replace it, access from underneath and loosen the tensioner, sliding off the auxiliary belt (be careful with the belt routing over the various pulleys); then apply the new belt, ensuring it passes correctly over the pulleys and aligns with the respective grooves. Once at the tensioner, move it to insert the belt.
