Let's discover the steps that will allow us to perform routine maintenance by changing the engine oil and oil filter on a Toyota 4Runner. First, lift the vehicle and start unscrewing the oil drain bolt found on the oil pan, removing the plastic shield first; let the oil drain into a container for about ten minutes, as shown in the video. At this point, use a wrench to unscrew the oil filter, removing and replacing the cartridge located inside (also replacing the gasket); finally, pour in the new engine oil!
