The guide shows how to do Toyota 4runner Mk5 engine oil change. The first step is to safely lift the front of the car to allow access to the lower part of the engine. Remove the metal protective plate from the engine to gain access to the bleed valve. Unscrew the bolt after having placed a container for the recovery of used oil; drain all the fluid and close the cap. Clean up excesses. Having identified the engine oil filter housing, using the special wrench for disassembly, remove the cartridge cover. Carry out the replacements, including the gaskets and reassemble the new element in place; tighten it to the correct torque defined in the use and maintenance manual. Refit the protective grille and lower the vehicle. Fill the tank with the correct oil and run the engine for a few minutes. Check the fluid level again and top up if necessary.
