To disable the traction control in the Toyota Highlander, insert the ignition key into the corresponding ignition switch: doing so will light up the instrument panel, allowing you to use the controls on the dashboard. In particular, locate the button with the icon of a skidding car positioned at the base of the central panel: by holding this button for about 6 seconds, you will notice that the indicator light signalling the deactivation of traction control will appear.

To reactivate it, simply press the button again.
