Let's see how the flow of these components works: the battery is the source of electrical energy, while the fuse protects the circuit. The ignition key is the safety switch. The lever on the steering wheel for the wiper control is the brain of the entire system; it is not just a simple switch, but a module that sends command signals. When we select a wiper speed, the control sends a signal to the wiper motor to activate it at that speed; when we pull the lever towards us for washing, the control does two things at the same time: it sends a signal to activate the wash pump and to make the wiper motor make a few passes. The latter is a multi-speed electric motor with a gearbox, featuring an integrated circuit for the "park" position: the wash pump motor is a simple electric motor that activates only when it receives a signal from the control. The ground connection completes the electrical circuit.
