Symptoms of a dirty MAF include: irregular idle, hesitation during acceleration, high fuel consumption, error code P0101. Diagnosis is done by disconnecting the MAF connector; if the engine runs better, you have found the culprit. The sensor is located after the air filter box and before the throttle body. Clean with CRC MAF cleaner: disconnect the electrical connector and remove the sensor from the pipe.
