How to Replace the Coil on a Volkswagen Polo

Model: Volkswagen Polo MK IV, Polo IV, Polo 4, MK 4, 9N - Years 2001-2009

Release and lift the bonnet using the designated lever to secure it with the prop rod. This gives you access to the top of the engine, from which you can remove the bolts securing the entire block that holds the leads with the coils and spark plugs. Also, remove the cap where the engine oil is added. Now that you have extracted the entire block, you can replace the individual coils or install a completely new block. This way, you will not have issues during reassembly. Retrace the steps described for reassembling the various components.
