In this tutorial we can see how to adjust the handbrake in the Volkswagen Golf, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, park the vehicle in a flat place with the first gear engaged, then position yourself in the rear seat, lift the armrest and remove the bottom of the glove compartment. Next, unclip the rear air vents, remove the additional plastic cover and locate the adjustment nut. At this point, using a long 10mm socket wrench, tighten the bolt until you achieve the desired lever tension.
